Arrival in Kunming
Meet your private driver and settle into a hot-spring stay outside the city's busiest centre. When the performance calendar allows, the evening includes the Dynamic Yunnan show; otherwise a quieter cultural alternative is arranged.

Weibaoshan & Weishan
Take the business-class high-speed train toward Weishan, subject to the current timetable. Continue to the Taoist temples and wooded slopes of Weibaoshan before entering Weishan's old streets for the evening.

Donglianhua, Dali & mountain tea
Visit Donglianhua Hui village, its museum and mosque before continuing to Dali. Near Wuweisi, walk through a tea garden, pick leaves in season and learn a simple hand-processing method before settling beneath Cangshan.

Xizhou indigo & Erhai
Begin at Xizhou market, then ride a bicycle or e-scooter along a quieter Erhai corridor. Join Bai makers for resist dyeing and Three-Course Tea, ending the day around Niujie hot springs.

Shaxi & Shibaoshan
Travel to Shaxi, once a staging point on the Tea Horse Road, and explore its theatre, lanes and caravan architecture. Continue to the grottoes and temples of Shibaoshan before returning to the valley.

Jianchuan craft road to Tacheng
Meet Jianchuan woodcarvers and make a small carved tray, then try natural-paper printing. Continue through Shigu and the First Bend of the Yangtze toward the warmer fields of Tacheng.

Golden monkeys & Cizhong
Enter the Baima reserve in search of Yunnan snub-nosed monkeys, with no staged encounter or guaranteed sighting. Continue to Cizhong for its Tibetan and Catholic heritage, vineyards and an optional paid wine visit at Xiaoling.

Mingyong Glacier & Meili
Approach Mingyong Glacier by local shuttle and mountain path, adjusting the walk to conditions. Visit the Lotus Temple when access allows, then continue to Feilaisi for the evening light over Meili.

Upper Yangtze & Benzilan
Watch sunrise over Meili if the mountain appears, then follow the upper Yangtze bend to Dongzhulin Monastery and a nearby nunnery. Continue to Benzilan; optional wine tasting requires a separate purchase.

Nixi pottery & Ringha Valley
Make a black-pottery cup with a Nixi artisan, then walk into Ringha Valley and Liotard Farm. Visit Dabose Temple, share tea and snacks, and end with a sunset aperitif and dinner beside the camp.

Mule-supported highland picnic
Hike with mule support toward a meadow at approximately 3,650 metres, carrying only what you need for the day. A private picnic is prepared in the highland landscape before returning to the farm camp for dinner.

Songzanlin, thangka & Shangri-La
Visit Songzanlin Monastery, Dukezong Old Town and Baiji Temple. Share yak-butter tea, tsampa and cheese, then enter a thangka workshop; local dancing may be added when the community schedule allows.

Tiger Leaping Gorge to Lijiang
Travel through Tiger Leaping Gorge, then continue to Lijiang for the old town and Black Dragon Pool. The day keeps to the confirmed route and does not promise an additional Shuhe visit unless specifically added.

Dongba culture & Lashihai
Meet Dongba culture in Lunagu, visit Zhiyun Temple and continue to the Lashihai wetlands. Horse riding, boating and other locally offered activities remain optional and are charged separately unless selected in advance.
