Arrival in Yinchuan
Meet your private driver at Yinchuan airport or railway station and transfer to the city. The rest of the day is left open for arrival recovery and a first, independent taste of Ningxia.

Alxa & the Tengger desert lakes
Drive about 150 kilometres toward Alxa and transfer into private 4WD vehicles. Cross remote Tengger tracks to Wulan 'Heart', Camel and Guitar lakes, with drone photography at Wulan when permitted, then continue toward the desert camp near Zhongwei.

Route 66, Shapotou & Yellow River Suji
Wake early for an optional dune sunrise and leave around 10:30. Follow Zhongwei Route 66 to Beichangtan, spend roughly four hours in Shapotou, then slow down among the earthen architecture of Yellow River Suji.

Helan wine, Western Xia & hot springs
Drive roughly 180 kilometres toward Yinchuan for Longyu winery's museum, cellar and vineyards, including a tasting of two wines. Continue to the Western Xia tombs, then end at Manpu with an evening performance and Tianmu hot springs when operating.

Zhenbeibu & departure
Spend around two and a half hours at Zhenbeibu Western Film Studio, then transfer to Yinchuan airport or railway station. Departures after noon work best; an earlier service may require the visit to be shortened, moved or omitted.
